The audio file is not playing properly

If the audio file you've uploaded on MiiTel Analytics (like for answering machine announcements in the incoming call rule) is not playing properly (e.g., can hear white noises, cannot hear anything, etc.), the following may be the cause of the problem. Please read the details below.

The audio files are not in a proper format

On the sound settings in MiiTel Analytics, you can only upload audio files in the following formats.

  • Wave (.wav)
      • Sampling frequency: 8 kHz (8000 Hz)
      • Bit depth: 16 bit
      • Channel: mono
  • MP3 (.mp3)
  • M4A (.m4a)

Change the format or make a new audio file with one of the formats above. 

  IMPORTANT

  •  Check the file format, not the file extension.
  •   Create audio files with the proper format or change the format by using a conversion tool, not by changing the file extension itself.
  •   If the audio file still doesn't play properly, please contact Support.
