With this feature, you can limit the source IP addresses that can access MiiTel.
IMPORTANT
- This feature can be used for organizations that are using a fixed global IP address (IPv4). For organizations that do not have a fixed IP address, do not use this feature because every time the IP address changes, you will not be able to access MiiTel.
- For MiiTel Phone Mobile, all sources can access MiiTel even if this feature is set up.
MiiTel services with IP address restrictions applied
If the IP address is set in Allowed IP addresses, the restrictions will be applied to the following services.
- MiiTel Analytics
- MiiTel Admin
- MiiTel Call Center
- MiiTel Phone Desktop
- MiiTel Phone Chrome Extension
- MiiTel Phone Web
- MiiTel Phone for Salesforce
- MiiTel Phone for HubSpot
- Incoming Webhook
- MiiTel RecPod
- MiiTel Phone Mobile *
* Restrictions apply only when checking the call history. (Tap History > choose the call history > Open call history)
NOTE
- Third party integration services (Salesforce, kintone, Zoom, etc.) are not subject to IP address restrictions.
How to set up
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click
Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
- Click Security > IP Address Restriction.
- Check Enable IP address restriction.
- Enter the IP address (for each row) you would like to allow access to MiiTel. If you would like to set the addresses by a range, enter it as "start IP address - end IP address."
- After you finish with the settings, click Save.
NOTE
- If you do not want IP address restrictions when accessing from MiiTel Phone, check the box below and click Save.

If you do not want IP address restrictions when accessing from MiiTel Phone Mobile, check the box below and click Save.
When the check box is unchecked, viewing the transcript of the call history and playback of the call recording are available only when accessed from an IP address that can connect to MiiTel. (Basic features such as making phone calls are available for all connection sources regardless of this setting.)
