kintone activity history integration

If you set the kintone activity history integration, the record including the call history URL will automatically be added to kintone after the end of the call.

  IMPORTANT

  •  A record will be added only when there is a record in the field set to the Field code for business contact's company name in the kintone integration matches with the Account name in the call history.

Basic settings for kintone integration

If the integration is already set up, you may skip this step. Go to Settings for kintone activity history integration.

  1. Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
  2. Click cog-solid (1).svg Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.

  3. Click Third Party Integration > kintone.
  4. Click the Basic Settings tab.
  5. Set all of the following fields and click Save.

1kintone domain: Enter the domain in your organization's kintone access URL. (E.g., If the URL is http://revcomm.cybozu.com, revcomm will be the domain.)

2guest space ID: Set the guest space ID that will be integrated with MiiTel. (Open the app as the guest space. If the URL is https://companyname.cybozu.com/k/guest/2/181, enter 2.)

Settings for kintone activity history integration

  1. Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
  2. Click cog-solid (1).svg Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.

  3. Click Third Party Integration > kintone.
  4. Click the Activity history integration tab.
  5. Check Enable activity history integration.
  6. Set all of the following fields and click Save. (For details on the kintone field types you will set for this integration, check kintone field types.)

1kintone app ID: Set the kintone app ID that will be the destination for the record including the MiiTel call history URL to be created automatically. (Open the kintone app to check the ID. For example, if the URL is "https://companyname.cybozu.com/k/4/", enter 4 for this ID.)

  IMPORTANT

  •   For the kintone app ID, set the app ID you will use to create the activity history. In addition to the app being used for managing the customer information set in kintone integration > kintone app ID, a separate app for creating the activity history is required.

2kintone API token: Set the token of the app in which the activity history will be integrated.
(For details on how to receive the API token, check Generating API Tokens. (For Permissions, check View records and Add records. If you want to add a comment, transcription, or transcription (summary) into the activity history, you would also need to check Edit records.))

3Field code for business contact's company name: Set the field code to add the account name. (If you are using the Sales CRM Pack, select Customer name.)

4Field code for MiiTel call history URL: Set the field code to add the call history URL.

5Field code for call type: Set the field code to add the call type.

6Field code for dial start time: Set the field code to add the dial start time.

7Field code for call start time: Set the field code to add the call start time.

8Field code for call end time: Set the field code to add the call end time.

9Field code for call memo: Set the field code to add the call memo.

10Field code for comment: Set the field code to add the comment.

11Field code for transcription: Set the field code to add the speech recognition results.

12Field code for transcription (summary): Set the field code to add the summary of the speech recognition results.

13Field code for kintone user name linked to the corresponding MiiTel user who responded: Set the field code to add the kintone user name linked to the MiiTel user who answered the call. (You would need to set up the activity history assignee.)

  IMPORTANT

  •   The kintone activity history can be created even if no related kintone records exist. In this case, the field mapped to the field code for the account name in the created kintone activity history will be blank. (The company name is often set when you use the Sales CRM Pack.)
  •   The following may be the possible causes for having no records added to kintone.
    • There is a limit on the number of characters in the field where the MiiTel call history URL is entered.
      → Increase the limit of characters.
    • Duplicates of values ​​are prohibited in the field where the MiiTel call history URL is entered.
      → Allow the duplicates.
    • Other fields have items set as required.
      → Remove the required settings.
  •  If multiple records have the same phone number, the activity history will be created in the most recently added record.

*If you are setting the Lookup, you will need to set Prohibit duplicate values in the Field code for business contact's company name. If setting Prohibit duplicate values is difficult, prepare a separate field (for the integration) with the Prohibit duplicate values set.
