Change the ringtone

You can change the ringtone for MiiTel Phone by groups. If you have created groups for different departments or teams, setting different ringtones for each group can make your work convenient. Also, setting a different ringtone for each group can allow employees to do some preparation before answering an incoming call.

You can only change the ringtone for MiiTel Phone. (The new ringtone will not be applied to MiiTel Phone Mobile.) 

Change the ringtone

  1. Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
  2. Click cog-solid Open MiiTel Admin on the top right of the page.
  3. Click User > User Group.
  4. Click  ellipsis-v-light (1).svg on the group for which you want to change the ringtone.
  5. From Select ringtone, select the ringtone you want to apply for the group.
  6. Click Save.

  NOTE

  •  You cannot change the ringtone for MiiTel Phone Mobile.
  •  In addition to the default ringtone, you can choose five different ringtones.
  •  If you want to check the ringtone, do a test call to MiiTel Phone.

  IMPORTANT

  •   After you change the ringtone, reload your MiiTel Phone by pressing the following keys.
    Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
    Mac: Command + R
