This introduces click to call, which lets you make a call just by clicking a phone number on Salesforce.
Before using this feature
- You need to set up MiiTel Phone for Salesforce in advance. Follow the steps in Use MiiTel Phone with Salesforce to complete the setup.
Make a call with click to call
- Open a Salesforce page that shows a phone number, such as an Account, Contact, Lead, or Case, and click the phone number.
NOTE
- If you set the data type of the field for entering a phone number to Phone, the phone number becomes a clickable link for click to call.
- MiiTel Phone starts the call.
The screenshots above show Lightning Experience, but you can use the same steps in Salesforce Classic.
Show a confirmation dialog before making a call
You can set Salesforce to show a confirmation dialog before making a call with click to call.
- On MiiTel Phone, click Settings > Call Settings.
- Turn on Show a confirmation screen before making a call with click to call.
