If you register the customer's details to Contacts in MiiTel Analytics, you will be able to see the company name and other details on your MiiTel Phone when you receive a call. Also, you will be able to check the call histories for these customers from Contacts.
You can also use a CSV file exported from the spreadsheet software or CRM (Customer Relationship Management) to register the customer's company name or account person name to your Contacts.

- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.

Click
> Create a contact.
- Fill in the necessary information in Create a contact form.
1Account name (required field): Enter the name of the organization (Name of company, department, group, etc.)
2Contact person name (required field): Enter the name of the person of the phone number to be registered.
3Phone number (required field): Enter the phone number to be registered.
4Account category: Click + Add Category and enter or select the category of the contact. You can set multiple categories.
NOTE
- To delete a category, click the trash button located on the right of the category.
- If you want to create a new category, click + Add Category > enter the category name in the box > click Add (category name you have entered).
- Click Save.
Importing a CSV file will allow you to add multiple contacts at once to your contact data in MiiTel Analytics.
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click Contacts

Click Choose File in Import contacts from the file and set the CSV file you wish to import.
- Select the character code (Encoding) of the CSV file to be imported.
NOTE
- If the automatic detection of the Encoding fails and an error message is displayed, please try uploading the file again by selecting the specific character code in the Encoding setting. Also, if the file includes platform-dependent characters, convert the character encoding of the original file to UTF-8, then select UTF-8 in the Encoding setting.
- Set the Delimiter used in the CSV file to import.
The CSV file should be configured as the following (in comma-separated format).

Account name,Contact person name,Phone number,Account category

IMPORTANT
- The CSV file must include a header row.

Each column name in the header row should be as follows.
- Column A: Account name
- Column B: Contact person name
- Column C: Phone number
- Column D: Account category
- While importing contacts using a CSV file, nobody can edit or delete contacts until the import is completed.
- Please enter one contact per row.
- Phone numbers can be uploaded with or without hyphens, but we recommend customers use hyphens (string type), because some spreadsheet software may lose the 0 digits for phone numbers starting with 0.
- If there are duplicates in the phone number column, an error message will be displayed.
- If a phone number in the CSV file is already saved in Contacts, it will be overwritten.
- A value must be entered in the Account name or Contact person name column.
- To enter multiple categories, separate each category name with the "|" symbol.
- Do not use double quotation marks (") or single quotation marks (').
- There is no limit to the number of characters for Account name, Contact person name, and Account category, but about 30 characters each is adequate.
- The maximum size that can be uploaded with one file is approximately 2 MB or 30,000 rows.
- The maximum number of contacts that can be registered is 750,000 per organization.
When you make a call to an unregistered phone number or receive a call from an unregistered phone number, Unknown company or Unknown contact will be displayed in the Call History. If you know the company name or the contact person's name, we recommend you register the information by following the instructions. When you receive a call from the same company or same person, the name of the company or person will be displayed for the next call.
- Visit https://account.miitel.jp/v1/signin and log in to MiiTel Analytics.
- Click
Call History.
- Click the contact information you wish to add to the history list in Call History.
- Click Account name unregistered or Contact person name unregistered displayed in blue color on the screen.
- Fill in the Account name unregistered or Contact person name unregistered with the correct details, then click Save.
