Create a summary during or after a meeting (Realtime talk assist)

With the Generate summary feature of Realtime talk assist, you can create a meeting summary during or after a meeting. Since summaries are created using pre-made templates, you don’t need to type prompts every time, which significantly reduces the time and effort required to create meeting minutes.

  What do I need to use this feature?

  • If you use MiiTel Meetings
    • A subscription to MiiTel Meetings and MiiTel Synapse (generative AI) is required. If you would like to use this feature, contact your account representative or Support.
    • Permission to use MiiTel Meetings is required.
  • If you use MiiTel RecPod
    • A subscription to MiiTel RecPod and MiiTel Synapse (generative AI) is required. If you would like to use this feature, contact your account representative or Support.
    • Permission to use MiiTel RecPod is required.
    • In Realtime transcription settings, you must select Talk assist (β).

Create a summary

  1. Log in to MiiTel Meetings/RecPod.
  2. Click Realtime talk assist in the upper right of the screen.
  3. Click the meeting name for which you want to create a summary.
  4. Click the Generate summary tab.
  5. Click the summary template you want to use. (To change the template after selecting it, click the template name shown in the upper right of the Template field and reselect a template.)
  6. Configure each item.

1Notes: Enter this field if you want to add additional information. (Example: Specific requirements you want to include in the summary; strengths you want to highlight when creating a job description, etc.)

2Input materials: Attach document files or images that you want to use when generating a summary.

3Templates: A list of template section names is shown. To edit a section prompt, click Prompt. To delete an unnecessary section, click trash-solid.svg . To add a section, click Add section.

  1. Click Generate all to generate summaries for all sections. Alternatively, click Generate next to a section name to generate a summary only for that section.
  2. You can copy, save, or download the summary you created.
  • Copy all: Copy the summaries generated for all sections.
  • Copy: Click Copy shown in a section summary to copy only that section’s summary.
  • Download: Export all summaries to an MD file.
  • Save: If you edit a generated summary, click Save to save your changes.

  NOTE

  •   You can create up to five Summary tabs for a single meeting history.
  •   You can add up to five files to Input materials.
  •   Each document file that you set in Input materials can be up to 4.5 MB. Each image file can be up to 3.75 MB. (Maximum image size is 8,000 × 8,000 px.)
  •    The file formats you can set in Input materials are as follows:

    • PDF (.pdf) (Up to 100 pages)
    • TXT (.txt)
    • MD (.md)
    • CSV (.csv)
    • HTML (.html)
    • Word (.doc / .docx)
    • Excel (.xls / .xlsx)
    • JPEG (.jpg / .jpeg)
    • PNG (.png)
    • GIF (.gif)
    • WebP (.webp)
  •   The meeting list on the left side of the screen shows only meeting histories that were recorded using the meeting bot, or meeting histories recorded in MiiTel RecPod version 26.05.10 or later, that meet one of the following conditions:
    • If Team viewing restriction is enabled
      • Meetings that you host
      • Meetings hosted by users who belong to the teams you belong to
      • Meetings with no Viewing restriction
    • If Team viewing restriction is not enabled
